Attention seniors and caregivers! Come to the free seminar and learn the answers to commonly asked questions about memory loss. Arlene Ige, Education & Training Coordinator from the Alzheimer’s Association Aloha Chapter, will help us understand these questions: How do I recognize changes due to normal aging versus the warning signs for Alzheimer’s disease? What is Alzheimer’s disease? What can I do to lead a more brain healthy lifestyle?

Lynde Lakes is the author of sixteen novels of romantic intrigue, paranormal and mainstream. She recently published Billboard Cop, which received a four-star review in Romantic Times Book Reviews. She is eager to help beginning writers chart their route before starting their journey to publication by sharing some of the close calls she faced along the bumpy road to publication. She’ll point out pitfalls and how to avoid them. Using her novel Billboard Cop, she’ll give examples of the detours that, if not careful, will leave you stranded in the wilderness. She’ll show just how rough the road can be, and what to do to achieve a smoother ride, stay motivated, and achieve your dream.
This one-hour program is recommended for adults. Call the library as soon as possible if a sign language interpreter or other special accommodation is needed.
