Aina Haina Library Receives Donation from Aina Haina 76 gas station and its owner, Mid Pac Petroleum
The Aina Haina Library just got an early Christmas present from its neighborhood Aina Haina 76 gas station and its owner, Mid Pac Petroleum, with a donation of $1,025 presented today at the library to the Friends of Aina Haina Library.
The Aina Haina community has been a long-time supporter of the family-operated Aina Haina 76 gas and service station and to its operators, Chad and Jen Willing. As a way to say thank you to the community for supporting its neighborhood gas and service station, Mid Pac Petroleum, who owns the station and distributes gasoline to it, donated 5 cents per gallon of gas sold at the station from October 13th to the 18th to the Friends of Aina Haina Library, resulting in $1,025.
“While we always like to think that our 76 brand operations are considered valuable and respected members of the communities in which they operate, we were simply blown away by the level of support that the Aina Haina community has shown for our dealer Chad Willing and his wife, Jen,” said Mid Pac Petroleum President Jim Yates. “We simply couldn’t let that support go unnoticed and are very pleased to show our appreciation by making this contribution to help support the beloved Aina Haina library.”
President of the Friends of Aina Haina, Lenore Johnson said, “We are very excited and appreciative of Mid Pac Petroleum and our neighborhood Aina Haina 76 station for this generous donation.”
The donation will go towards the purchase of library books and will also help support the various activities and children’s programs that the library offers to the Aina Haina community.
