Musubi Man by the Honolulu Theatre for Youth

Date: Tuesday, March 24, 2009, 3:00-3:30 p.m.
Location: Aina Haina Library

musubiman“Musubi Man,” a local-style version of “the Gingerbread Man,” is based on a play written by Lee Cataluna. Like the gingerbread man in the classic tale, the Musubi Man is determined not to be eaten. He leads his pursuers on a merry chase until reaching the ocean and must match wits with a surfer. The surprise ending will feature a unique Hawaii “twist” to the story. Even if you don’t eat “local,” everyone is sure to enjoy chasing the Musubi Man as he runs from adventure to adventure! (Honolulu Theatre for Youth)

This free 30-minute program is sponsored by the Friends of the Library of Hawaii and is suitable for ages 2-5.
