Book-alanche! Aina Haina Public Library’s Winter Book Sale

Dates: Saturday and Sunday, January 17 and 18, 2009

Location: Meeting Room (note: on Sunday the library is closed, but the Book Sale is available from the side entrance to the meeting room.)

Come early on Saturday for the first blizzard of bargains and stay late Sunday for the big thaw – a $2.00 fill-it-to-the-top bag sale!

Proceeds from the sale will benefit the Aina Haina Public Library. Anyone interested in joining the Friends of the Aina Haina Library should leave their name and telephone number at the library’s reference desk.

Friends of the Aina Haina Library Book Sale

The Friends of the Aina Haina Library will hold its Spring Book Sale in May 2008.

Dates: Friday and Saturday, May 9-10, 2008

Time: 10:00 am to 4:00 pm

Place: Aina Haina Public Library Meeting Room

There will be a wide variety of books, including Hawaiiana books, videos, DVDs, CDs and audiotapes to choose from. Sale prices start at $2.00 for hardcover books and $1.00 for paperbacks. During the last hour of the sale on May 10, a  “Two-Dollars-a-Bag” bargain will be featured. Proceeds from the sale will benefit the Aina Haina Public Library.
